When asked about the inspiration behind it, Maxiscoolerthanyou, the creator of the subreddit, shared a simple childhood memory: “One of my favorite childhood memories is being in the back of the car, looking out the window while we were driving somewhere. It was a rare, random comedy moment when one of my siblings or I would point out a sign accidentally saying something funny.”
