When we asked the photographer about how he comes up with ideas for his photos, he said he always begins by creating a mood board. He explained that he looks for inspiration to come up with a concept. Once he has the concept, he contacts models who match the vision. Then, they work together to plan the location, time, and the clothes or props needed to make the idea come to life.

Geo Leon’s photoshoots usually last 1 to 2 hours, depending on the ideas and how they’re carried out. He often gets help from his friend Chris or his wife Michelle during the shoots. After the photoshoot, he spends 1.5 to 3 hours editing and retouching each photo.

When discussing dealing with creative block, the photographer shared, “I sometimes push myself too hard and create so much that I feel exhausted. Like any artist, I always search for new sources of inspiration. This could involve watching movies, playing video games, or exploring digital art online. Having friends in the same profession who can inspire and motivate you is always a great help.”
